Job profile of Technical Sales Manager
Qualifications and Experience :
- Educational Background: Minimum qualification of degree in Electronics or
Communications Engineering.
- Experience: Demonstrated experience in Sales within the Home Automation or
Professional AV sectors, is essential. Expected 3 to 8 years' of Gulf experience.
Key skills and abilities :
- Generating Key Accounts from potential leads : Evaluate the list of potential
leads, create a high-priority subset. Follow a structured approach to contact high-
priority leads to transition them to key accounts.
- Analyzing and Interpreting Client Needs: Must have a keen ability to listen to and
understand the specific needs of each client.
- Identifying Technical Solutions: Shall identify the most appropriate Home Automation/
Audio Visual technologies and solutions, based on a deep understanding of the client's
needs.
- Designing Techno-Commercial Proposals: Coordinate with, and guide Presales team
to create detailed proposals that outline the technical specifications of the proposed
solution. The proposal should be tailored to each client, highlighting how the solution
addresses their specific needs and objectives.
- Explaining the Proposal: Must effectively communicate the value of the proposed
solution to the client.
- Negotiating to Close the Deal: Employ strong negotiation skills to reach an agreement
that is satisfactory to both the client and the company.
Other requirements :
- Should be proficient in oral and written English communication.
- Should have a UAE driving licence.
Compensation package :
- The compansation package will consist of a base salary of 10-13 k linked to a
minimum required target, plus commssions on sales achieved over and above the
minimum target.
