Technical Purchasing Engineer

The purpose of this position is to maintain high-class maintenance standards in maintenance planning and ensure the availability of spare parts. plan Dammam Mill spare parts & services procuring to ensure the machine is available and able to produce quality product. To drive the increment in reliability by proper planning, material handling and resource management and fulfill ISO standard requirements. To ensure the usage of SAP Spare parts ordering and track the entire mill purchasing process from ordering time till reached to stores. Issue all maintenance reports and keep machinery job history cards updated. Main Responsibilities: Environment, Health and Safety: Ensure EHS of self and employees by applying and maintaining the EHS programs. Ensure that the team follows the safety procedures and Compliance with all local regulations and KC Mill Safety requirements. Be accountable to implement EHS Mill Improvement Plan. Ensure complying to Housekeeping standards and supporting key initiatives like 5S. Quality: ensuring quality targets are met as per objectives of the facility, by ensuring assets are maintained to the correct standard. Planning: Drive maintenance planning instruction implementation to achieve our OEE target and ensure the response time to the customer meet the expectation to ensure conformance to quality and productivity standards. Prepare and issue maintenance reports. Procurement & Cost: Manage maintenance cost, spares, maintenance consumables usage and ordering process. Ensuring that they are in line with budgets and work in CT. Provide input on spares optimization opportunities as they relate to spares life cycle costs and generate ideas of cost reduction in the daily activities. Human Resources: Improve skill levels, particularly on job training, Ensure teamwork and good relations amongst all employees, Ensuring that objectives are set and regularly discussion around objectives are done. And live Ways of Working culture. Asset Management: Ensure that assets and store are always kept controlled, all the operating conditions and parameter are within acceptable limit and Ensure that maintenance plans aim to delivery of asset management KPIs. Customer Service: Ensure that all records spare parts and maintenance activates are completed to satisfaction of internal customer, in terms of response, time, cost and quality. Being a team player and well engaged with the cross functional teams in problem solving sessions and provide effective solutions. Compliance: Ensure to follow the SOP & CFI for reporting and using the systems implemented in the maintenance department, spare part consumption, internal control, and assets management, company policy’s` compliance. What we are looking for:
  • This position is opened for Saudi Nationals only. Minimum Bachelor Engineering Degree.
  • 2 years previous maintenance / procurement experience in industrial environment is a plus with good level of communication, presentation & reporting skills
  • SAP Spare Parts and Purchase Orders management experience is a plus with good computer literacy
  • Understanding of spare parts procuring process
  • Basic Understanding operations processes and industrial safety requirements
