We are hiring a Technical Presales Engineer to win complex deals across the Middle East. You will lead discovery, craft solution architectures, deliver high-impact demos/POCs, and partner with Account Executives to drive technical close. Native/fluent Arabic and strong English are required to communicate from C-level to developer.
What you will do
Discovery & qualification: Run technical discovery in Arabic/English; map business goals, data flows, and integration needs.
Solution design: Produce HLD/LLD and architecture diagrams across APIs, auth, data pipelines, and hybrid/on-prem environments.
Demos & storytelling: Build tailored demos that speak to value, not just features; connect KPIs to ROI and TCO.
POCs/Pilots: Scope, set success criteria, instrument usage, and lead hands-on POCs to technical win.
RFP/RFI & proposals: Own technical sections (requirements traceability, SLAs, support model); align with pricing and SoW.
Objection handling & competition: Counter competitive claims with benchmarks, references, and architecture trade-offs.
Partner with Product/CS: Capture field feedback, influence roadmap, and ensure clean handoff to delivery.
Localization: Prepare Arabic decks, one-pagers, and POC readouts; ensure materials render correctly RTL.
Governance & compliance: Address data residency, privacy, and security (e.g., Saudi, UAE, Egypt regs), and typical enterprise controls.
Ideal experience
4-8+ years in Sales Engineering / Presales / Solutions Consulting for B2B/enterprise software or platforms.
Comfortable with system design and integration patterns (REST/GraphQL APIs, webhooks, SSO/OAuth2/SAML, eventing).
Hands-on with SQL/data (validating datasets, writing queries for demos/POCs).
Familiarity with VMs & on-prem/private cloud (VMware/Hyper-V/KVM, sizing, HA/DR) and hybrid networking (VPN, allowlists, proxies).
Experience crafting Power BI or similar analytics demos (data modeling, DAX basics, RLS, refresh).
Solid grasp of security/compliance (TLS, RBAC, audit logs; awareness of SOC 2/ISO 27001/GDPR).
Excellent Arabic & English communication: whiteboarding, exec pitches, and technical deep dives.
Nice to have
Sector knowledge: Public Sector, Telco and Energy, in GCC.
Experience with tenders/procurement in UAE; framework agreements; vendor onboarding.
Scripting for demos/POCs and Postman/OpenAPI.
