To prepare, review, and manage all technical documentation required for project execution, ensuring compliance with project specifications, standards, and client requirements. The role involves coordinating between the project, design, procurement, and site teams to support timely approvals and smooth project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit technical documents including, but not limited to:
Material submittals
Method statements
Risk assessments
Prequalification documents
Shop drawings and as-built drawings (coordination)
Inspection and test plans (ITPs) and other QA/QC documentation
Review project specifications, drawings, and standards to ensure compliance of materials and work procedures.
Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to gather required technical data, certificates, and compliance documents.
Liaise with consultants and clients for technical approval of submittals and clarifications.
Maintain a systematic document control and tracking process for all technical submissions.
Support the project team with technical clarifications and design interpretations.
Participate in preparation of project prequalification and tender documents, when required.
Ensure that all documentation aligns with company quality standards and project requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in infrastructure or construction projects.
Strong understanding of construction specifications, materials, and standards (e.g., ASTM, BS, EN, QCS, etc.).
Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and document management systems.
Attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple submittals simultaneously.
