The Role
Position Overview: Supersonic Shipping Group is seeking experienced and dedicated professionals for the role of Technical Manager and Superintendent Engineer at our Dubai office. These positions are crucial in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our tanker and chemical vessels. The Technical Manager / Superintendent Engineer will oversee various technical aspects, including dry-docking, repairs, and maintenance, while ensuring compliance with ISM Code and TMSA requirements. Familiarity with ERP systems is considered a plus. Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical expertise and guidance for the safe and efficient operation of vessels. - Oversee dry-docking, repairs, and maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion. - Manage and supervise vessel inspections and audits to ensure compliance. - Monitor and manage vessel budgets, expenses, and cost control measures. - Collaborate with various departments to optimize vessel performance. - Ensure compliance with industry regulations, including ISM Code and TMSA requirements. - Provide technical support and guidance to the onboard crew. - Maintain accurate records and documentation of technical activities. - Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. - Participate in the selection and evaluation of vendors and suppliers. - Promote a culture of safety, environmental awareness, and continuous improvement.

Requirements
Qualifications: - Sea-going experience as Chief Engineer or Senior Officer on tanker and/or chemical vessels and/or LPG vessels. - University Engineering Marine Degree is preferred. - A minimum of 5 years of previous office experience in a similar technical management position. - Dry-docking and repairs experience is highly desirable. - Previous experience with ME electronically controlled engines is an advantage. - Familiarity with ERP systems is considered a plus.
