Job Description

The Technical Manager will lead technical operations, product development, and support activities for a construction chemical manufacturing company. The role involves overseeing product formulation, quality control, technical support to production and sales teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead technical operations, including product formulation, testing, and quality assurance. Provide technical guidance and support to production, R&D, and sales teams. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and chemical handling regulations. Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production and quality control. Evaluate new products, technologies, and materials for potential adoption. Troubleshoot technical issues in production or on customer sites. Train staff on product usage, technical standards, and safety procedures. Collaborate with R&D and production teams for process improvement and cost optimization. Maintain technical documentation, reports, and regulatory compliance records. Support marketing and sales teams with technical presentations and customer inquiries.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field. 5-10 years of experience in a technical role within construction chemicals, building materials, or manufacturing. Strong knowledge of chemical formulations, construction applications, and industry standards. Experience with quality control, lab testing, and technical problem-solving. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent Communication in English and Hindi is a MUST. Ability to train and mentor staff effectively. Strong documentation and analytical skills.
