Job Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven

Technical Manager

to lead our technical division within high-rise construction and real estate development projects across the UAE. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership capabilities, deep technical knowledge, and a successful track record managing complex building developments from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the technical department, overseeing all engineering design and documentation.

Review and approve technical drawings, construction methodologies, material submittals, and shop drawings.

Ensure project compliance with UAE building codes, local authority regulations, and international standards.

Coordinate and liaise with consultants, contractors, government authorities, and internal project teams.

Provide strategic technical direction during planning, design, procurement, and construction phases.

Manage design conflicts, propose engineering solutions, and ensure technical risks are identified and mitigated.

Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and adherence to design intent and quality standards.

Support value engineering initiatives to optimize project cost, quality, and timelines.

Prepare high-level technical reports, engineering assessments, and management updates.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related discipline (Master's degree is an advantage).

Minimum 10 years of experience in a Technical Manager or similar senior engineering role in the UAE.

Proven experience working on high-rise building projects (mandatory).

Strong understanding of UAE regulations, permitting processes, construction codes, and authority requirements.

Proficiency in engineering design tools and software (AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, etc.).

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make informed technical decisions under pressure.
