Key Responsibilities

Technical Oversight & Quality Assurance:

Manage and lead the technical team, including Draftsmen and Technical Coordinators, to produce accurate and timely

shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and material submittals

. Review all design and tender documents, identifying discrepancies, potential technical issues, and value engineering opportunities prior to project commencement. Ensure all technical designs and installation methods adhere strictly to local building codes, regulations, and project specifications. Oversee the technical review and approval process for all materials, samples, and mock-ups.

Project & Site Coordination:

Collaborate closely with the Project Management, Design, and Procurement teams to maintain seamless technical communication across all project phases. Provide technical support and direction to site teams to resolve complex installation challenges and technical queries (RFIs) efficiently. Manage the detailed coordination of all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) services integration within the interior fit-out components.

Process Improvement & Leadership:

Establish and maintain high standards for technical documentation, drawing templates, and quality control procedures. Conduct regular internal training for the technical team on new materials, industry standards, and software updates.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Minimum of

8-10 years of progressive experience

in the construction industry, with at least 5 years specifically in a technical management role within interior fit-out. Expert proficiency in AutoCAD and strong working knowledge of other relevant software (e.g., Revit, SketchUp). In-depth understanding of construction materials, installation methods, quality control standards, and health and safety regulations pertinent to interior fit-out. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
