WE ARE HIRING

Technical Manager

One of the fastest growing Construction Companies requires a

Technical Manager

for its project office in Dubai, UAE. Must be a graduate in Architecture with 7-10 years of experience in technical drafting, coordination -Civil, Architectural and MEP- and CAD management (with BIM proficiency would be a plus), preferably within a Contracting firm. He/ she should be able to:

Manage and oversee all CAD production for architectural and interior design projects.

Develop, implement, and maintain CAD standards, templates, and drawing protocols to ensure consistency and quality across all projects.

Coordinate with design, engineering, and site teams to ensure drawings align with design intent, construction requirements, and local regulations.

Review and approve shop drawings, details, and technical submissions for accuracy and compliance.

Train, mentor, and support CAD technicians and junior team members, ensuring proper use of drawing systems and company standards.

Collaborate with project site team and designers to develop and refine technical solutions and construction details.

Ensure timely delivery of drawing packages in coordination with project timelines and deadlines.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical drawing issues, maintaining high-quality output under tight schedules.

Manage software and licenses related to AutoCAD, Revit, and other drafting tools.

Skills:

Expert proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Sketch up and other BIM tools is an advantage.

Strong understanding of construction methods, detailing, and materials for high-end residential and commercial interiors.

Excellent organizational and coordination skills with strong attention to detail.

Ability to lead a team and communicate effectively across disciplines.

Familiarity with UAE building codes and standards is preferred.
