Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Department Management:

Oversee preventive maintenance and conduct regular facility checks. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime. Manage inventory and procurement of critical spare parts. Provide technical guidance and ensure staff are trained and follow safety protocols. Balance technical, creative, budgetary, and scheduling demands. Foster team motivation, cohesion, and manage change and conflict constructively. Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards. Assist in special projects and organizational initiatives.

Financial and Subcontractor Management:

Develop and manage annual departmental budget. Ensure systems are under valid maintenance contracts and manage subcontractors. Optimize inventory levels and minimize operational costs through preventive maintenance. Utilize CMMS for inventory tracking, purchasing, and scheduling.

People Management:

Performance management, coaching, and disciplinary actions when required. Plan balanced work schedules and promote staff well-being. Conduct regular briefings and ensure effective communication with the team.

Job Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in engineering (mandatory) Certifications such as CFM, IWFM (preferred)

Experience:

10-15 years in facilities operations and maintenance (Hard FM services)

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of engineering systems and Hard FM standards Understanding of inventory systems, CMMS, and basic accounting principles

Management Skills:

Proven leadership in multicultural environments Conflict resolution and team development

Technology Skills:

CMMS, AutoCAD, and standard computer systems

Language Proficiency:

Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Communication Skills:

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication
