Job Purpose

Technical Lead is responsible for providing engineering, technical and product support to the Projects / Services Team and Sales groups across the region with the aim to ensure best valued engineered solutions, standardization and quality outcomes are achieved.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversight of all engineering activity of the (Information Security) projects across the region
• Establish and maintain high standards of performance to maximise the team\'s ability to meet business goals and objectives
• Provide direction and assistance for engineering design, solution development, design verification and support to Projects, Services and Sales groups within the location with the aim to ensure best valued engineered solutions
• Implementation, Advocacy and ongoing Auditing of the standard Engineering Methodology, processes and tools
• Provide input and feedback into the Project & Technical Team as and when required
• Provide technical consultation and validation for Customers on technical system design
• Facilitate feedback from engineers to appropriate owners on operational and product issues
• Acting as Subject Matter Expert and assisting with technical support issues as and when required
• Assist Technical Managers / Head of Services in new product & tools development and evaluation (including 3rd party Products)
• Submit weekly reports on all operations and projects to the management clearly showing escalations where required along with project based cost savings
• On time complete of Projects
• Efficient project delivery
• Meet Customer SLA
• Delivery schedule to be provided to the commercial team at the beginning of each project
• Conduct performance monitoring and appraisals of team
• Perform product/principal identification, concept testing relevant to the Business Unit
• Any other additional tasks the line manager may give and is within the scope of work

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• Engineering Degree qualifications and/or minimum 10 years engineering experience in nominated disciplines. Chartered or Professional Engineer status is desirable

Experience

• Minimum 8 years relevant experience
• Experience in Information Security Solutions
• Experience in Cloud Security Solutions
• Experience in SOC and other Managed Security Services

Certifications

• CISSP and other related Security Certifications

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge in Multi Cloud Technology, cloud repatriation.
• Engineering leadership experience
• McAfee and Trendmicro Certifications.
• Good hands on experience with Endpoint, Cloud Security, DLP and other information security solutions
• Good hands on experience with McAfee AV, EDR, DLP, SIEM, IPS, MVISION, CASB, Email and WEB gateway etc
• Good experience in Mobile security solution
• VAPT and Security Auditing knowledge
• Excellent knowledge in SIEM solutions
• Good hands on experience with Cisco Iron-port or other Email / Web security products
• Good knowledge in systems, routing and switching
• Knowledge in most common security standards, Technical writing, Solutions design, Troubleshooting skills
• UAE Driving License with Own car
• Awareness of most common security solution, and standards.
• Teamwork, Written, verbal communication & presentation skills.
