We are seeking an experienced

BI Technical Lead

to oversee the end-to-end delivery of data models, dashboards, and advanced analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will lead a team of BI developers, drive best practices, and ensure high-quality analytical outputs aligned with business goals.

Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of BI developers, assign workloads, and ensure timely delivery of BI solutions. Oversee data analysis activities to identify trends, opportunities, and insights that support strategic initiatives. Guide the design and development of impactful dashboards, KPIs, and reports using Power BI. Supervise implementation of advanced analytics and predictive modeling using Power BI AI visuals. Manage and optimize Microsoft Fabric tools (Dataflows, Pipelines, OneLake) to ensure scalable and reusable data workflows. Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the BI team, ensuring clear communication and requirement alignment. Enforce data governance standards, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance with organizational policies. Monitor performance and reliability of BI assets and drive continuous optimization. Stay updated on BI trends, innovations, and best practices to elevate the analytics function.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (Master's preferred).

6+ years of experience

in Business Intelligence, data analysis, or related fields. Strong hands-on expertise in Power BI Desktop, DAX, data modeling, and advanced visualization practices. Proven experience delivering BI projects from requirements to production, not just supporting others. Strong understanding of Power BI Service (workspaces, deployment pipelines, dataflows, RLS). Proficiency with

Microsoft Fabric

tools and scalable BI architecture. Experience with Azure Data Platform, Git, or DevOps CI/CD for Power BI is a strong plus. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to challenge requests that violate data governance standards or modeling best practices. Preferred: Microsoft PL-300 certification. Nice to have: Python for data analysis.

Expected Deliverables (First 30-60 Days):

Fully functional dashboards and models deployed to production. Reusable, scalable, and well-documented data models. A short enablement session or guide to help users adopt BI solutions. Recommendations for improving BI governance, naming conventions, and performance.
