The Technical Engineer will provide technical expertise and support to ensure the smooth execution of architectural and structural projects within the firm's G+4 license scope. The role involves preparing and reviewing technical drawings, coordinating with consultants and authorities, and ensuring all design and construction activities comply with regulations, project specifications, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and coordinate architectural and structural drawings, shop drawings, and as-built plans in alignment with project requirements and local authority regulations.
Assist the architectural team in developing technical details, specifications, and design documentation.
Ensure designs comply with
Dubai Municipality (DM)
and other relevant authorities' requirements for G+4 licensed projects.
Coordinate with
MEP, structural, and civil
teams to ensure seamless integration of design and technical elements.
Provide engineering solutions during the design development and construction stages.
Support site teams with technical clarifications, design coordination, and material submittals.
Conduct site inspections and ensure work quality aligns with approved drawings and standards.
Prepare and manage documentation for authority submissions, approvals, and NOCs.
Assist in project planning, scheduling, and cost control by providing technical inputs.
Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and consultants to resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in
Civil Engineering

Architectural Engineering
, or related field.
Possession of a valid
Dubai Municipality (DM) G+4 Engineering License
is
mandatory
for this position.
Minimum
3-5 years
of relevant experience in an architectural or engineering consultancy firm within the UAE.
Familiarity with
Dubai Municipality
procedures and regulations for G+4 projects is mandatory.
Proficient in
AutoCAD
,
Revit
,
SketchUp
, and
MS Office
; knowledge of
STAAD
or similar structural software is an advantage.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and local building codes.
Excellent coordination, communication, and documentation skills.
