Assist in the development and review of landscape design plans, technical drawings, and specifications.
Prepare shop drawings, construction details, material take-offs, and BOQs for landscape projects.
Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and contractors to ensure landscape works integrate seamlessly with overall project requirements.
Perform site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
Provide technical input during all project phases - from design and planning to execution and maintenance.
Identify and resolve technical issues or discrepancies in collaboration with the site team and consultants.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, environmental guidelines, and safety standards.
Prepare technical reports, documentation, and progress updates for internal and client use.
Assist in the selection and specification of landscape materials, including plants, paving, irrigation systems, lighting, and furniture.
Support sustainability initiatives and incorporate best practices in green landscaping and water-efficient systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree Civil Engineering or related field.
1-2 years of experience in a technical or engineering role within the landscape or construction industry.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and other design software; familiarity with irrigation and lighting design tools is a plus.
Strong knowledge of landscape construction techniques, horticulture, soil science, drainage, and irrigation systems.
Understanding of local building codes, environmental regulations, and health & safety standards.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work both in the office and on-site under varying conditions.
