Job Description

:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Civil Engineer / Technical Draughtsman

to join our exhibition and events team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings, plans, and structural designs for exhibition stands, pavilions, and temporary structures. This role involves close coordination with designers, project managers, and production teams to ensure that all designs are practical, safe, and aligned with client specifications.

Prepare

detailed technical, structural, and architectural drawings

for exhibition stands, temporary structures, and event spaces using AutoCAD or other CAD software. Collaborate with

designers, engineers, and project managers

to develop buildable and cost-effective solutions for exhibition projects. Revise and update drawings based on

client feedback, design changes, and on-site conditions

. Ensure that all drawings comply with

engineering standards, safety codes, and venue regulations

. Conduct

site visits and measurements

to support design accuracy and assess installation feasibility. Assist in

material estimation, structural analysis, and project planning

. Maintain and organize

drawing archives, documentation, and version control

for multiple ongoing projects. Provide technical support during the

fabrication, setup, and dismantling

phases of exhibition projects.

Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in

Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Drafting Technology

. Proven experience as a

Civil Draughtsman / Technical Draughtsman / Civil Engineer

in construction, interior fit-out, or exhibition projects. Proficiency in

AutoCAD

and other relevant design software (e.g., SketchUp, 3d max). Strong understanding of

temporary structure design

, and

construction methods

. Excellent

attention to detail, precision, and technical accuracy

. Strong

communication and teamwork skills

with the ability to coordinate across departments.

Preferred:

Experience in exhibition stand and construction projects Knowledge of local building codes and regulations. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
