Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented

Technical Document Engineer

to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, managing, and ensuring the completion of technical documentation related to various projects, including MCC (Motor Control Centre), Monitoring and Control Centre (MCC), and ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems, such as CCTV, access control, radar systems, and network infrastructure. The role also requires familiarity with construction, ELV systems, and a project engineer background.

Key Responsibilities:

Documentation Management:

Develop, review, and maintain all technical documentation for engineering projects, including but not limited to technical manuals, operation manuals, as-built drawings, and close-out documentation. Ensure that all documents are compliant with project standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational guidelines.

Close-out Documentation:

Oversee the preparation and close-out of final project documentation for various systems (CCTV, Access Control, Radar, etc.). Review and verify the accuracy of close-out documentation, ensuring all project requirements are met before project completion.

Collaboration with Engineering Teams:

Work closely with project engineers, construction teams, and technical staff to gather required information for documentation. Assist in the coordination of design and installation changes, ensuring proper documentation updates.

Technical Support:

Provide technical support to project engineers and other stakeholders, ensuring that all technical documents meet the required quality standards. Review system drawings, specifications, and design documents for accuracy and completeness.

System Monitoring and Control Documentation:

Prepare detailed documentation for Monitoring and Control Centre (MCC) systems, ensuring the correct setup and functionality of integrated systems. Ensure the monitoring and control systems are documented per the final system design and client specifications.

Quality Assurance:

Perform quality checks on all documentation, ensuring that all specifications, equipment details, and system designs are accurate and up-to-date. Actively identify and resolve any discrepancies or inconsistencies in technical documentation.

Compliance and Reporting:

Ensure that all technical documentation complies with internal policies, industry standards, and legal regulations. Track and report the status of documentation milestones, including progress updates, completion dates, and any issues encountered.

System Integration Documentation:

Create and maintain documentation for system integration processes, including network infrastructure, radar systems, access control, and CCTV installations. Ensure seamless integration and interoperability between various systems.

Key Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.

Experience:

2 years of experience in technical documentation or engineering, preferably in systems such as MCC, ELV, CCTV, access control, radar, or network infrastructure. Experience in project engineering or construction project documentation is highly desirable.

Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of engineering systems, including MCC, Monitoring and Control Centre, CCTV, Access Control, and Radar systems. Familiarity with ELV systems and associated standards. Knowledge of network infrastructure, design, and integration is a plus.

Software and Tools:

Proficiency in technical documentation software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project, MS Office Suite, etc.). Familiarity with project management and documentation control software. Understanding of document management systems.

Communication Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prepare detailed and clear technical documentation.

Attention to Detail:

Strong attention to detail with an ability to ensure the accuracy of technical documentation.

Problem-Solving Skills:

Ability to proactively identify issues and provide solutions to ensure project success.

Additional Skills:

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
