Technical Design Manager
Dubai
Cladding and Insulation industry
20-25k + Family ticket.
The purpose of this role is to produce and maintain an expert level of product knowledge through producing project specific calculations, articulate application tools, simplified calculation software and data sheets to aid both sales and technical users.
Applicants for this role should have a Degree in Architecture and at least 15 years work experience in building envelop, insulated cladding, standing seam and Coldstore cladding industry. Also project construction management, project implementation - from schematic design to construction phase.
In terms of software, ACP - Revit, Autocad 2D & 3D, and Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities will include:
- Providing design and specification development support to consultants, integrators, architects, distributors, and specifiers
- Preparing cladding system static calculation reports by collecting necessary data and design parameters based on project specifications
- Responding to functional and technical elements of RFIs and identifying customer's needs and sales opportunities to help future growth
- Performing technical and product training for sales, estimators and engineers and assisting in the design and development of new products and tools necessary to make target projects comfortable and successful
- Maintaining accurate records of projects, opportunities, quotes, contacts, and correspondence in company approved databases
- Traveling to project sites to perform start-up, integration, and training services
- Conforms with company policies, procedures, and contractual agreements. This includes Health and Safety, Compliance, Acceptable Use of IT, Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Data Protection, and Codes of Conduct to which the company commits
- Assisting research & development for KIP product improvement
- Monitoring design changes towards product improvement
