Role Overview
We are seeking a talented Technical Coordinator. The Technical Coordinator will act as the
key link between engineering, Tekla detailing, fabrication, and erection teams
. The role ensures that all drawings, material lists, and fabrication documents are correctly reviewed, coordinated, and released to production and site in a timely manner.Key Responsibilities
Coordinate between
Tekla Detailers, Workshop, and Site teams
to ensure alignment of drawings and production requirements. Reviewshop drawings, GA drawings, and material lists
before release to workshop/site. TrackIFC drawings, revisions, and RFIs
; ensure latest revisions are implemented. Prepare and maintaindrawing registers, revision logs, and transmittals
. Liaise withprocurement and stores
to verify material requirements and availability. Provide technical clarification toworkshop supervisors and erection team
. Support project team withmethod statements, as-built drawings, and QA/QC documentation
. Monitor and report ontechnical progress, issues, and drawing/document status
to management.Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering. 3 years' experience in
steel fabrication and erection projects
. Strong understanding ofsteel detailing, fabrication processes, and site erection methods
. Familiarity with Tekla Structures, AutoCAD, and shop drawing workflows. Knowledge of Dubai Municipalitysteel codes and fabrication standards
. Excellent coordination, communication, and documentation skills.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
