Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Technical Coordinator - Joinery Department is responsible for coordinating all technical aspects related to joinery works, ensuring drawings, material submittals, and production details are accurately reviewed, approved, and implemented as per project specifications and design intent. The role bridges communication between design, production, and site teams to ensure the highest quality of joinery deliverables within project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate with design, production, procurement, and site teams to ensure smooth execution of joinery works. Review joinery shop drawings, cutting lists, and material specifications before submission for approval. Ensure all joinery drawings comply with project requirements, architectural details, and site conditions. Liaise with consultants, designers, and clients for design clarifications and technical approvals. Follow up on material submittals, samples, and approvals to ensure timely release for production. Coordinate with the production team to ensure joinery fabrication aligns with approved drawings and specifications. Conduct site inspections and ensure proper installation and finishing of joinery items. Maintain proper documentation, drawing logs, and technical records for all joinery works. Participate in technical and coordination meetings and provide updates on progress and issues. Support the project team in resolving any joinery-related technical queries or discrepancies.

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Civil/Mechanical Engineering. Minimum

4-8 years of experience

in joinery or interior fit-out industry, preferably in a similar coordination role. Strong understanding of joinery materials, finishes, hardware, and manufacturing processes. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; knowledge of Revit or similar design software is an advantage. Excellent coordination and communication skills to liaise between multiple teams.
