Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Construction Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and coordinating technical documentation to support the successful execution of construction projects. This role requires strong collaboration with various disciplines to ensure technical accuracy, compliance with project specifications, and smooth on-site operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and ensure adherence to the company's technical office policies, procedures, and best practices. Prepare precise shop drawings, coordination (composite) drawings, and technical documents in alignment with project design drawings and quality standards. Collaborate with civil, mechanical, and electrical teams to proactively identify and resolve design conflicts. Maintain and update the shop drawing log to ensure accurate tracking and timely submission to the project consultant. Prepare and review Requests for Information (RFIs) to resolve missing, unclear, or conflicting technical information during construction. Coordinate the review and approval process of subcontractors' and outsourced shop drawings with the consultant and project team. Assist the Project Manager in reporting and resolving unexpected technical issues and construction-related challenges. Prepare accurate as-built drawings at project completion for consultant review and approval. Prepare material submittals in line with project specifications and ensure timely consultant approval.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. 1 to 4 years of relevant experience in technical office roles within the construction industry. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software is required. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and technical specifications. Excellent problem-solving and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
