Job Description

Techtron / Southern Automation is currently looking for an Technical Buyer/Purchaser/Estimation/Proposal Engineer in Electrical and Instrumentation with Oil and Gas Experience to work on the Proposal Application services in UAE office (Abu Dhabi) Your responsibilities

• Ability to work individually and keep self-motivated during the course of job.
• Understand tender documents/ requisitions (RFQ) and specifications of Electrical and Instruments items like Switchgears , Indication Lamps , Hooters, Cables , Cable trays glands , Junction box\xe2\x80\x99s & Electrical Equipment\xe2\x80\x99s, Guages, Transmitter, Instruments Tubes & Fittings, Manifold,etc,.
• Understand tender documents/ requisitions (RFQ) and specifications of PLC / Switch gear panel requirement and co-ordinate along with Vendor/ Engineering to prepare an Techno commercial offer.
• Analyse technical specifications of tenders, prepare comments/deviations, estimating time, risk identification etc.
• Prepare a Techno- Commercial offer to clients in a stipulated time to meet client deadline.
• Collaborate with customers/ consultants on technical requirements.
• Interact with Engineering team on technical requirements.
• Win orders with more margin by Identifying Cost effective Vendors for the client required items.
• Sourcing component with competate pricing and negotiate with vendors.
• Finding new vendors, creating a vendor database.

Skills / Qualifications

• Minimum 4-6 years of experience in Electrical components and PLC/LV panel Proposal. Preferred experience in UAE. Especially worked in all panels.
• Proficient in Panel / Components Environmental IP rating philosophy.
• Proficient in Panel/ Components Hazardous area rating philosophy.
• Knowledge of control systems and instrumentation design ( Allen Bradley , Siemens & Schneider)
• Knowledge of industry / regulatory codes and standards (NEC, ATEX,EXD,EXE,NFPA, NEMA, IEEE,IP)
• Demonstrate strong problem solving skills and multitasking ability and Multidisciplinary design knowledge.
• Strong computer skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Negotiation skills and communication skill
