Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Drawing Coordination:
Review and ensure full coordination between IFC Architectural and Structural drawings. Identify and resolve design conflicts related to coordination between structural and architectural drawings.Shop Drawing Management:
Prepare, Review, and finalize architectural shop drawings based on IFC, consultant comments, and site conditions. Coordinate with draftsmen and BIM modelers to ensure timely submission and accuracy of shop drawings. Ensure compliance with project specifications, authorities' regulations, and standards.Technical Submittals:
Prepare and review technical submittals (materials, method statements) related to architectural scope. Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for material compatibility and compliance.Site Coordination:
Support the site team with technical queries, RFI preparations, and implementation of architectural elements. Conduct site inspections to ensure architectural works are being executed as per approved drawings and details.As-Built Documentation:
Assist in preparing and reviewing as-built drawings during and after construction.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Structure, Architecture, or a related field. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in architectural coordination within the UAE construction industry. Strong knowledge of IFC drawings, local building codes, and construction detailing. Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office. Strong command of shop drawing development and review processes.
