Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly competent and detail-oriented

Technical Architect

with strong experience in the

production of original shop drawings

as per

UAE standards

, and a solid background in

joinery works

. The ideal candidate should be capable of conducting

site visits

, making

informed technical decisions

, and

supervising technical draftsmen

to ensure the accuracy and constructability of design documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review

detailed shop drawings

, particularly for

bespoke joinery items

(e.g., custom furniture, wall cladding, cabinetry, doors, reception desks, wardrobes, etc.) according to project and UAE authority standards. Translate architectural and ID design intent into executable technical drawings, ensuring constructability and compliance with material specifications. Conduct

regular site visits

to verify actual conditions, resolve technical/site issues, and adjust drawings accordingly. Ensure joinery details are practical, efficient for production, and align with factory capabilities and installation requirements. Coordinate with joinery production teams, subcontractors, and project managers to ensure proper execution of custom joinery works. Lead and supervise a team of

technical draftsmen

, checking their drawings for accuracy, quality, and adherence to standards. Collaborate with designers, engineers, and contractors throughout project stages to ensure integrated and conflict-free documentation. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and fabrication technologies related to joinery and fit-out.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in

Architecture

,

Architectural Engineering

, or a related field.

Minimum 4-6 years of relevant experience in the UAE

, with a strong focus on

joinery and interior fit-out

projects. Proven experience in the preparation of high-quality

joinery shop drawings

and technical detailing. Deep understanding of

UAE building codes

,

municipality/authority requirements

, and fit-out industry standards. Proficiency in

AutoCAD

,

Revit

, and other drafting tools; experience with BIM is a plus. Ability to interpret and coordinate

architectural, structural, MEP

, and

ID drawings

effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make technical decisions on-site. Demonstrated leadership in overseeing a drafting team and maintaining drawing quality control.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in

high-end commercial, or residential projects

. Familiarity with

factory production processes

for custom joinery. Knowledge of sustainable materials and value-engineering methods.
