MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE: To supervise daily warehouse and stores operations, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient handling of aircraft materials, tools, and equipment and driving adherence to aviation standards and company policies while maintaining accuracy of inventory, service levels to Engineering & Maintenance, and continuous improvement of warehouse processes. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversees day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, binning, issuing, and returning of aircraft parts, tools, and consumables.
Ensures compliance with regulatory and company standards (EASA/GCAA, SMS, ISO, etc.) in all stores operations.
Monitors and controls the movement, storage, and calibration of tools/equipment, ensuring proper traceability, readiness for use, and adherence to calibration schedules.
Maintains segregation and control of special categories: quarantine stock, hazardous/DGR, ESDS, shelf-life items, and scrap.
Conducts regular warehouse inspections, quality checks, and ensures traceability of all material movements ensuring compliance with regulatory and audit requirements.
Maintains accurate documentation and records in line with audit and regulatory requirements to ensure full traceability.
Supports internal and external audits, by maintaining operational readiness, coordinating responses, and ensuring timely closure of audit findings.
Upholds health, safety, and environmental standards in all warehouse areas by enforcing procedures, monitoring conditions, and promoting safe work practices.
Supervises, coaches, and develops a team of storekeepers/assistants, fostering teamwork, accountability, and a service mindset.
Allocates workloads, sets priorities, and monitors performance against KPIs to maintain efficiency and service quality.
Promotes a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement through regular communication, coaching, and reinforcement of best practices.
Reviews and develops warehouse processes and procedures for efficiency, accuracy, and service delivery.
Identifies opportunities to leverage technology (e.g., AMOS Stores, barcoding, automation) for better stock management and reporting.
Drives initiatives to reduce stock discrepancies, improve turnaround times, and optimise space utilisation.
Collaborates with management to implement warehouse layouts and set up operations, including inventory systems and safety protocols, for efficient workflow and optimal space utilisation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)
Aviation Stores / Warehouse Operations training (preferred)
Fluent in English
Minimum of 7 years in aviation materials/stores management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or lead role with strong knowledge of aviation regulations, SMS requirements, and the handling of dangerous goods or hazardous materials
Strong knowledge of MRO and ERP systems (AMOS, Oracle or equivalent)
Years with qualifications: 7 - 9 years
IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) - Cat 6 or higher Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (desirable)

ISR Requirements: Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
