Job Description
- To stand guard and maintain surveillance of the entire jurisdiction for safe upkeep
- To be alert against theft, vandalism and criminal damage to the premises
- Conduct duties as documented at your posts
- To act as the Client\'s representative of any breaches to the security and safety of the premises
- Professionally handle emergency situations like fire, law and order, medical, evacuation etc.
- To report faults and failures to the client representative and follow up rectification action through the Maintenance department
- Perform other appropriate security activities as desired and advised by the client from time to time
- Be courteous and extend appropriate courtesies to all, especially dignitaries, VIP\'s, and personnel of importance and repute
- Attend security briefings
- Perform all tasks consistently in line with the EFS standards and adhere to all legal and statutory requirements
- Maintain a safe place of work. Immediately notify the manager of any safety issues or concerns
- Adhere to all regulations in respect to security at work
- Flexible availability for 24/7 standby duties and emergency call outs
- Ensure security emergencies are responded to within the agreed time-frames
- Carry out, to the best of your ability, all tasks assigned by management
- Always maintain a clean and tidy appearance. Uniform must be worn and should be clean and in a good state of repair
- Comply with all processes and procedures (Human Resources, HSEQ, Finance, Information Technology, Procurement, Operations) which include compliance with all applicable rules and regulations of the local labour law
