Jumeirah Zabeel Saray is a luxurious beachside resort located on the west crescent of the iconic Palm Jumeirah in Dubai. The interior of the resort is inspired by the ancient palaces of Turkey and features hand-painted finishings, Turkish artworks and stunning murals inspired by the Golden Age of the Ottoman Empire. The resort offers 405 rooms and suites, 38 Royal Residences and the award-winning Talise Ottoman Spa, one of the largest and most luxurious spas in the Middle East. The resort offers Sinbad\'s Kids Club complete with splash park, nightlife destination Music Hall and a collection of eight diverse restaurants which offer a vibrant selection of culinary experiences. About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a F&B Team Leader which will be anticipate and meet guest\'s needs and requests, ensuring complete guest satisfaction from pre arrival through departure, and recognize all returning and VIP guests.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

The main responsibilities are:
  • Managing the day-to-day activities of the team & motivating and guiding the team to achieve organizational/departmental goals.
  • Developing and implementing a timeline to achieve targets.
  • Delegating tasks to team members.
  • Lead the team by example by demonstrating compassion, honesty, and integrity.
  • Ensure all personnel, clients and their guests are greeted and attended to in a professional, efficient, and discreet manner, where applicable.
  • Brief staff regarding duties before shift starts in their respective domain.
  • Ensure Duty roasters are compiled and advise on changes as applicable.
  • Responsible for preparing reports and maintaining appropriate filling systems.
  • Responsible for managing stock and inventories, vendors directory, contract agreement where applicable.
  • Accountable for all the processes related with Supply chain: vendors registration, creation of codes, price update, etc.
  • Responsible for submitting purchase orders. Verifying that the receiving process is managed accordingly to ensure that all expenses fall in their respective expense line, within the right month as per budget.
  • Report any operational problems, conflicts, incidents, or any irregularities to the Supervisor. Highlight any technical glitches promptly.
  • Deal with guests\' enquiries & complaints professionally, record any relevant details and notify the supervisor.
  • Ensure familiarization and adherence to compliance with your respective domain policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Carry out any reasonable job request made by the management, outside normal duties, however within the scope of the job.
  • Where applicable, undertake regular checks and conduct audits to ensure hospitality services are presented as per Jumeirah highest standards and to client\'s satisfaction.
About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
  • A total of 4-5 years of food and Beverage experience
  • 1 years minimum in a similar role in a 5 * international hospitality environment
  • Exposure to working with a multi-cultural team.
  • Diploma in Hotel Management
  • Excellent listening skills and customer orientation.
  • Adaptability and appreciation of cultural diversity
  • Passion for driving excellence
  • Possess interpersonal skills
  • Showcases Empathy
  • Basic Computer Knowledge
  • Technical know-how where applicable (Intermediate/Advanced)
  • Excellent in handling Micros Cashiering system
  • Fluent in English (Read/Write/Speak)
  • Knowledge of additional language (Desired)
