Job Overview
Jumeirah Burj Al Arab is hiring a seasonal Team Leader to oversee daily operations in one of its world-class dining venues. This role is ideal for hospitality professionals who possess strong leadership, customer service, and team coordination skills in luxury food and beverage environments.

Job Overview
As a Team Leader at Jumeirah Burj Al Arab, you will supervise daily front-of-house operations and ensure service excellence across shifts. Your responsibilities include team delegation, guest engagement, quality assurance, and maintaining the iconic standards for which Burj Al Arab is globally recognized.
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead pre-shift briefings and ensure team members are aligned with service goals
  • Supervise service flow and staff performance during busy dining periods
  • Respond to guest queries, resolve complaints, and escalate complex issues as needed
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, health, safety, and hygiene protocols
  • Conduct regular operational checks and prepare service reports
  • Coach and mentor staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment
  • Stay updated on menu offerings, seasonal promotions, and guest preferences
Job Requirements
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role in a luxury hotel or upscale restaurant
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, guest service, and team leadership
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Micros, Opera Cloud, and Sevenrooms (preferred)
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills such as Russian or European languages are a plus
  • Ability to work under pressure and resolve guest concerns with professionalism
  • Strong interpersonal and multicultural team management skills
