We are hiring a team leader to achieve the switchgear fabrication assembly plant production targets and responsible for leading a team of 50 blue collar workers.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Supervising fabrication shop, consisting below operation.

• TRUMPF Made Laser Machines.
• TRUMP Made Bending Machines.
• Robot Welding.
• TIG Welding.
• MIG Welding
• RCT Process.
• Powder Coating
• BOM validation and error reporting to contracts/LTH Eng for corrective actions (ECR/ECN process)
• Productivity improvement on a continuous scale and weekly reporting of all production related KPIs like production efficiency and factory efficiency, OT, OTIF and FPY/process rejections.
• Creating work environment to meet quality standards set by ISO 9000/14000/18000.
• Coordinate with Production Engineering dept. for optimized process flow, Lean manufacturing etc. on a continuous scale for cost cutting and waste reduction.
• Total Quality system implementation by deploying correct manufacturing processes.
• Total cycle time (throughput time) reduction.
• Impart Training to workers on Product and other technical aspects of product.
• Co-ordination with internal customers/suppliers like Fabrication/Stores/Quality to meet production targets in time.
• Ensuring that tools/fixtures/templates, measuring instruments etc. that are used are periodically calibrated as applicable.
• Responsible for 50 Blue collar workers (as of now). Man- Managements skills as an outstanding capability to keep the Workers motivated and committed in achieving high productivity and quality standards, always.
• Allocation of workload to blue collars on daily basis
• Scheduling the shift based on workload and material availability.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• With minimum 5 years of experience in Fabrication process
• Good Knowledge of fabrication process operations of Laser Machinery, Robot Welding Machinery, RCT process and Powder coating
• Should be able to understand the BOM structure, BOM comparison.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in supervisory role leading a team.

• Knowledge of ISO, ERP & Health, and safety
• To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as required / instructed to maintain and / or improve the efficiency, quality, and service of the department.
• Health & Safety \xe2\x80\x93 adherence to all Company Health & Safety Policies, Procedures and Safe Working Practices.
• Industrial practices, Production reporting, 5S, Kaizen, H&S etc.
