Assist the lead teacher in delivering classroom instruction based on the redefined curriculum.
Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organised classroom environment for children.
Support the lead teacher in promoting the physical, social, cognitive, and educational development of children.
Ensure the classroom is aesthetically appealing to create an enjoyable and engaging learning atmosphere.
Provide support in planning lessons and daily activities based on child development principles.
Foster the development of positive relationships with children to encourage self-esteem and self-discipline.
Observe each child to assess individual skills, interests, and needs, and use this information to support personalised learning and growth.
Record significant observations related to student development and communicate them effectively to the lead teacher.
Assist the lead teacher in student evaluation and the preparation of progress reports.
Offer comfort and emotional support to distressed children using empathy and sensitivity.
Help children embark and disembark from school buses, and accompany them safely to and from their classrooms.
Support children during mealtimes and ensure their nutritional needs are met.
Change nappies and assist children with personal hygiene as needed.
Supervise children during outdoor play to ensure their safety and wellbeing.
Assume the responsibilities of the lead teacher in their absence.
Record daily attendance and ensure it is accurately entered into the school database.
