EYFS Nursery Teacher

Key Responsibilities

Inspire and stimulate children's learning through experience-based activities. Support development in areas including personal, social, language, and physical coordination. Create engaging visual aids and teaching resources. Plan and implement lessons aligned with the

Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

curriculum. Promote creativity and numeracy through storytelling, singing, games, drawing, and imaginative play. Encourage curiosity, exploration, and knowledge development. Collaborate with teaching assistants, nursery nurses, and volunteers to deliver coordinated indoor and outdoor activities. Communicate regularly with parents and share updates on child development. Observe, assess, and record children's progress accurately. Maintain a safe and secure environment for children and staff at all times. Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and remain updated on curriculum changes and best practices.

Required Skills

Strong experience delivering the EYFS curriculum effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Organizational skills for planning engaging and structured daily activities. A nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic approach to early childhood education. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Sensitivity to the individual needs and emotions of young children.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Education

(attested)

Cache Level 3 certification

(or equivalent)

2-3 years

of relevant teaching experience in an EYFS-based nursery or school High proficiency in English (reading, speaking, and writing)
