The Post: Teacher of Robotics From September 2023 we are looking to appoint an outstanding Teacher of Robotics to join the College. This will be a new department, and the successful candidate will be responsible for setting up a new curriculum for first teaching in September 2024. This will mean designing and resourcing the KS3 curriculum (in the first instance) and supporting the design of the facilities to cater to this curriculum. The facilities will be brand new and bespoke. The department is within the Faculty of Computing, and therefore line managed by the Head of Department: Computer Science
The successful applicant will be required to have the following:

• A B.Ed. or degree in the Robotics field and PGCE / PGDE or equivalent with exceptional subject knowledge.
• Certificates in The National Robotics Education Foundation Certificate (NREF) or The Texas Computer Education Association (TCEA) or The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers - Robotics and Automation Society (IEEE-RAS)
• Preferred 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 teaching experience of the National Curriculum for England.
• Experience teaching GCSE, A-Level. We are seeking to appoint talented, highly motivated and well-qualified individuals. You should have a proven track record of outstanding learning and teaching.
• A mindset which understands all students have the potential for top performance, and the drive and passion to enable them to do so.
• Experience which will enable a contribution to our enriched curriculum programme.
