Looking for Taxidermist :
Key Responsibilities
Perform all aspects of taxidermy, including skinning, mounting, and preserving specimens. This includes large and small animals.
Conduct bone maceration and skeleton articulation.
Design and fabricate biological and scientific models and replicas.
Utilize techniques such as casting, carving, molding, and plaster work.
Create, set up, and construct dioramas and museum exhibitions.
Handle tanning, wet preservation, and plastination of specimens.
Manage plant conservation and herbarium work.
Lead and collaborate effectively within an international team.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
State-certified as a museum conservator or taxidermist, or hold an equivalent qualification.
Strong knowledge of animal anatomy and biology.
Proven experience working in a natural history museum or similar setting.
Fluent in English.
Ability to work independently.
A minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience in taxidermy.
