The InterContinental Hotels Group\xc2\xae properties in Dubai Festival City consist of four hotel brands. These include the luxury brand InterContinental, the superior upscale Crowne Plaza, the lavish long-stay InterContinental Residence Suites and the vibrant mid-scale Holiday Inn. In addition to over 1000+ bedrooms, the four properties boast a selection of high quality restaurants and bars, an impressive 3,800 square meter Event Centre across two levels, the 5,000 square meters Festival Arena by InterContinental, the luxurious Spa InterContinental, state-of-the-art gymnasium and swimming pool facilities. A little taste of your day-to-day:
  • Tax Compliance: Review and prepare tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to applicable tax laws and regulations. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Tax Planning: Provide tax planning strategies and advice to individuals and organizations to minimize tax liabilities and maximize tax benefits. Analyze financial data, transactions, and business operations to identify tax planning opportunities.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research on tax laws, regulations, and rulings to provide accurate and timely advice to clients. Analyze tax implications of business decisions, transactions, and investments.
  • Audit Support: Assist clients in preparing for and responding to tax audits. Review and analyze financial records, statements, and documentation to support tax positions and resolve tax-related issues.
  • Client Advisory: Advise clients on tax implications of business transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and other financial activities. Provide guidance on tax-efficient structuring of businesses and investments.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Monitor changes in tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements to ensure ongoing compliance. Develop and implement processes and procedures to meet tax compliance obligations.
  • Tax Documentation: Maintain organized and accurate tax records and documentation for clients. Prepare and maintain working papers, memos, and supporting documents for tax filings and audits.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and addressing their tax-related concerns. Communicate complex tax concepts and information in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments within an organization, such as finance, legal, and operations, to ensure alignment and integration of tax strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Professional Development: Stay updated on tax laws, regulations, and industry trends through continuing education, professional certifications, and participation in tax-related seminars and conferences.
What we need from you:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • In-depth knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex tax regulations and apply them to specific situations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in tax preparation and compliance.
  • Proficient in using tax software and other relevant tools for tax calculations and research.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
  • Ethical conduct and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial and tax information.
