In this newly established position you will join our Group Tax Team, having your base at our office in Dubai. The Group Tax Team works in a holistic manner and holds a central position in the Monjasa Business and you will work closely together with our advisors as well as the various departments within the Group. The position will have a direct reporting line to the Group Tax Manager, who is located in Fredericia, Denmark. On a daily basis you will work closely with the Finance team as well as reports locally to Head of Finance MEA. You will gradually take over the responsibility for the specific tax areas, to ensure compliance for direct and indirect taxes covering our offices in the Middle East, Africa and Asia region at the same time in line with the Monjasa global requirements. Areas of focus

• Preparation, review and submission of Tax Returns
• Local/regional Transfer Pricing Documentation and guidelines
• Communication with Tax Authorities and assisting with general tax compliance and guidance, both from a Local and Group perspective.
• Various ad hoc tax work relating to e.g., restructurings, economic substance report, VAT registrations, customs and excise duties.

Your professional skills

• Relevant education CPA, CA or similar position and/or as a Tax Auditor
• Minimum 3 years of experience from a similar position
• Experience from the oil and shipping is an advantage
• Fluent in both written and verbal English; Arabic will be an advantage
• Experienced user of Microsoft Office, experience with NAV and/or Microsoft Dynamics will be an advantage
