Job Summary:
The candidate is expected to perform the following but not limited to:
Tax Return Review and Analysis.
Verify the documentations submitted, identify any discrepancies, and request additional supporting documents from the taxpayer.
Review and ensure that the information and data integrity are as per the requirements and processes.
Monitor tax returns for suspicious behavior and report it to the supervisor or section head.
Prepare and submit reports on tasks handled.
Review and analyze financial data submitted by the taxpayers.
Provide initial observations related to taxable persons\' financial conditions and related operations.
Assist in the verification of accounting records.
Prepare written reports of tax return findings.
Document all tax return review activities.
Liaise with team members on complex tax return review.
Assist in performing procedures to identify fraud.
Maintain records/logs of suspected fraudulent activity.
Provide analysis for tax and penalties reporting.
Prepare assigned reports, memos and materials.
Execute any other tasks assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Education Requirements:
Bachelor\'s Degree in Business, Accounting or Economics or other relevant degrees
Minimum:
4+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in an auditing function
