We are actively seeking a highly skilled Tax Policy Expert to join our team. As a Tax Policy Expert, you will play a crucial role in providing technical expertise and insights into the tax technical interpretation of laws and legislative developments. Your responsibilities will extend to offering guidance on tax policy development and improvement, ensuring alignment with government principles and objectives. In addition, you will contribute to the formulation and execution of compliance and tax policy strategies aimed at maximizing tax revenues.

Key Responsibilities:

Tax Technical Interpretation: Stay abreast of evolving tax laws and legislative developments, providing insightful technical interpretation to the Tax Policy Section (TPS) for informed decision-making.

Policy Development: Offer technical expertise and advice on the development and enhancement of tax policies, ensuring alignment with government principles and objectives.

Compliance Strategies: Contribute to the formulation and implementation of compliance strategies, providing guidance on effective approaches to ensure adherence to tax policies and maximize revenue collection.

Indirect & Direct Taxes: Demonstrate expertise in both indirect and direct taxes, offering comprehensive insights into the complexities of each and advising on strategies for optimal outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Law, Tax, Finance, or a related field.

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in tax policy development, legislative interpretation, and compliance strategies.
• In-depth knowledge of both indirect and direct taxes, with a keen understanding of their respective frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal and financial documents.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical information to diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to contribute to a collaborative team environment and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
