Tax Officer - Emirization Programme

One of the World\'s leading shipping companies is looking for a Tax Officer to join their Finance Team. As part of their Emirization Programme they are looking for UAE Nationals Only to apply.

Location: Based in Dubai
Responsibilities:

• Support Group companies established in Dubai in tax audits with the support of local CFOs and local external advisors (if any)
• Support in the development of secured and optimized tax solutions for various entities of the Group
• Guarantee tax monitoring and conduct ad hoc studies and projects
• Drive continuous improvement, provide recommendations for a best in class process for direct/indirect tax
• Tax review of Group entities and eventually be involved in the validation of tax liabilities for Group entities

Qualifications

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or higher in Tax Law
• A minimum of four years of related work experience within the tax department, of a large consulting firm and/or an international group
• You are familiar with and willing to work on tax matters within an international context (analysis of double tax agreements, OECD/UN model tax conventions and related commentaries, foreign tax regulations, VAT, etc.)
• You are comfortable with providing written analysis and implementing solutions with respect to various tax matters/issues in an international context.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate complex topics in an effective and concise manner.
