Job Description
To support Masdar Tax Team, adding value in a multi-disciplinary context and providing in-depth knowledge and advice on VAT/CIT as well as managing UAE CIT implementation. Also to manage Masdar\xe2\x80\x99s operational tax compliance obligations in the UAE in order to ensure compliance with regulations and standards at all times.

Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred Experience:
- Bachelor in Business, Finance or related field
- Tax or accounting specialization is an asset (preferred)
Preferred Experience:
- At least 6 years of experience in UAE VAT and experience with corporate taxation (preferred)
- Experience gained through employment with Big 4 accounting firms or law firms, international work with a top-tier taxation advisory firm and UAE based historic experience is required
- In-depth knowledge of UAE VAT, accounting and IFRS standards
- Non-UAE experience with corporate taxation
- Experience of interacting with tax authrotiteis, assisting clients with tax audits, tax appeals, claiming refunds, preparting supporting documentation, etc.
- Good verbal and written communication and presentation skills, demonstrating the ability to communicate information and ideas clearly and confidently
- Ability to work effectively with others, and to demonstrate a proactive approach and initiative in delivering work
- Good analytical skills and the ability to quickly and accurately assimilate financial information
- Knowledge of Masdar\xe2\x80\x99s business operations and assets, and ability to provide tax advice accordingly
