:

• Basic Function: Apply expert knowledge of tax compliance requirements and procedures in GCC

• Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in collecting, organizing, and entering financial data into tax software or spreadsheets

• Conduct research on tax laws, regulations, and rulings

• Prepare and maintain documentation, such as schedules and workpapers, to support tax filings and compliance efforts

• Support Tax Manager and Finance Head in developing and implementing tax planning strategies

• Analyze financial data to identify potential tax implications and assist in making informed decisions

• Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information and ensure accurate and complete tax reporting

• Provide support during tax audits by preparing documentation, responding to inquiries, and helping to resolve issues

• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate relevant information to the tax team and other stakeholders

• Participate in period-end closing activities, particularly in processing tax records and performing reconciliations

• Handle administrative tasks such as filing, organizing documents, and maintaining records

Requirements

• Qualified CA/ACCA who has 2-3 relevant UAE experience

• Possess Strong technical knowledge regarding UAE and GCC Tax Laws

• Expertise in tax returns, preparation and finalization for tax audits

• Knowledge of IFRS, local statutory laws and regulations/implications

• Be self-motivated and a problem solver

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

• Excellent communication skills

• Team player

• Knowledgeable Oracle System
