Job Description

Imperium Commodity Search has a new opportunity for an experienced Tanker Charter Broker to join an established team in Dubai focused on Sale and Purchase, Demolition, and chartering services to global clients. The company is vastly experienced and specialized within the Tanker and Cargo sectors with ambitious growth plans.
Responsibilities:

• Build strong relations with Ship owners and Clients within the international oil markets.
• Responsible for tanker broking all sizes and cargoes including Clean Petroleum Products (CP), Dirty Petroleum Products (DPP) and chemicals globally.
• Promote the company's activities to international clients within the shipping industry focusing on the chartering services, Sale and Purchase and ship demolition.
• Negotiate margins and costings for the charter of marine vessels with a focus on Tanker markets.
• Experienced in managing clients within numerous sectors (Oil & Gas, New Build, Ship demolition and commercial ship management)

Experience:

• Experience in Tanker Broking ( CPP, DPP, Chemicals or Project tankers)
• Previous experience dealing with Global Oil and Gas companies and international Ship Owners.
• Key understanding of the local UAE Tanker market and ability to build and maintain relations with a focus on local markets.
• Travel required to meet with International clients looking to bring business across the UAE, Europe and Asia.
• Excellent understanding of Broking Tanker charters to the international markets.
