We are seeking an experienced and passionate North Indian and Tandoori Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in preparing a wide range of North Indian curries, gravies, snacks, and traditional tandoori dishes using authentic techniques and ingredients.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of
North Indian dishes
such as butter chicken, paneer tikka masala, dal makhani, rogan josh, etc.
Specialize in
Tandoori preparations
including tandoori chicken, kebabs, naan, kulcha, and other breads using a traditional tandoor oven.
Marinate meats and vegetables with appropriate spices and ingredients in advance for tandoori items.
Maintain proper portion control and food presentation standards.
Ensure food is prepared in a timely and hygienic manner.
Monitor food inventory and coordinate with the kitchen manager for stock replenishment.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards as per regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
Proven experience (2+ years) as a North Indian and/or Tandoori Cook.
In-depth knowledge of spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques used in North Indian cuisine.
Skilled in operating a traditional clay tandoor.
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Good time management and multitasking abilities.
Team player with good communication skills.
Culinary certification is a plus but not mandatory.

Pay: AED1,400.00 - AED1,800.00 per month
