Job Title: Upholstery Tailor / Stitching Worker
:
We are looking for an experienced
Upholstery Tailor
for a furniture manufacturing company. The candidate will be responsible for stitching and assemblingleather and fabric covers
for sofas, chairs, beds, and other furniture items.Key Responsibilities:
Stitch leather and fabric covers for sofas, chairs, cushions, headboards, and furniture items Cut leather and fabric according to patterns and measurements Operate industrial sewing machines for heavy materials Assemble and fit stitched covers on furniture frames Repair and alter upholstery covers when required Ensure strong stitching, neat finishing, and quality standards Handle materials carefully to avoid damage and wastage
Requirements:
Experience in upholstery stitching (leather & fabric) Knowledge of furniture upholstery techniques Ability to work with industrial sewing machines Attention to detail and quality workmanship
