Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled tailor to join our team at a star hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing tailoring services to our guests, ensuring that their clothing is tailored to fit their individual preferences and requirements. The tailor will also be responsible for maintaining and repairing the hotel\'s linen, including bed sheets, towels, and tablecloths. This is a full-time position that offers competitive pay and benefits. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality tailoring services to guests of the hotel, ensuring that their clothing is tailored to fit their individual preferences and requirements Meet with guests to discuss their tailoring needs and take measurements Cut and sew fabrics to create custom garments, including suits, dresses, and other clothing items Alter clothing items to fit guests\' changing needs, such as hemming pants or adjusting the fit of a jacket Repair and maintain the hotel\'s linen, including bed sheets, towels, and tablecloths Ensure that all tailoring equipment and tools are properly maintained and kept in good working order Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that all materials and tools are properly stored Provide excellent customer service and ensure that all guest requests are handled promptly and professionally Keep up to date with the latest trends and styles in tailoring and fashion Requirements: Proven experience as a tailor, with a minimum of Four years of experience A degree or diploma in tailoring or a related field is preferred but not mandatory Excellent sewing skills and knowledge of tailoring techniques Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Excellent communication and customer service skills Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as required Knowledge of different fabrics and their properties is preferred Knowledge of different body types and how to create custom garments to fit individual needs Ability to speak multiple languages is preferred, but not mandatory.
