At least 4-5+ years of experience in the industry of fashion/apparel industry preferable in the couture industry
An understanding of fashion is preferred

Skills

Must know how to cut garments based on the pattern maker developed patterns
Can alter the grading when required
Can convey instructions to tailors clearly in English and supervise the outcome and finish
Should have strong tailoring skills
Has good knowledge in pattern making so he can follow pattern provided for execution
A team player attitude with Good communication skills
Have excellent technical knowledge and skill
Must be detail oriented

Duties and Responsibilities

Draw and cut out sets of patterns for specified ranges of garment sizes as well as grading (increasing or decreasing dimensions)
Must have superior sewing ability and be able to communicate effectively with designers and their assistants, as well as sampling and production areas of the company
Create Pattern as advised by the Designer including pattern grading
Assist in filling up the size chart for reference
