Responsibilities:
Assess the condition of furniture pieces and determine necessary polishing techniques Apply appropriate polishes, stains, and finishes to restore and enhance furniture Use hand tools and polishing machines to achieve a smooth and high-quality finish Ensure that all workspaces are kept clean and organized Collaborate with other members of the team to meet deadlines and quality standards Maintain a detailed record of work performed on each piece of furniture Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in furniture polishing
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Furniture Polisher or in a similar role Strong knowledge of polishing techniques and materials High attention to detail and craftsmanship Ability to use various hand tools and polishing equipment effectively Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team Physical stamina to handle manual labor tasks Flexibility to work on a variety of furniture styles and finishes
