We are seeking a skilled and passionate Taekwondo Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Taekwondo training and coaching, strong communication skills, and the ability to work with children and adults alike. This role also requires basic computer proficiency and a customer-oriented mindset, as well as experience in fitness management or training.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct Taekwondo classes for students of all ages and skill levels.
Create lesson plans that align with the academy's curriculum and values.
Ensure student safety and discipline during classes.
Motivate and mentor students to help them achieve their personal best.
Communicate effectively with parents, students, and staff.
Assist in event planning (belt tests, tournaments, demonstrations).
Manage attendance and student progress using academy software.
Support front desk and customer service activities as needed.
Requirements
Minimum 2-year college degree (Associate's or equivalent).
Minimum 1-2 years of Taekwondo coaching or teaching experience.
Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Good computer literacy (Microsoft Office, email, and basic software tools).
Experience in fitness training or fitness management is a plus.
Must enjoy working with children and demonstrate excellent communication skills.
Certification in CPR/First Aid (preferred but not mandatory).
Black belt certification in Taekwondo (Kukkiwon preferred).
