Job Description

Mechanic plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of various types of vehicles. They are responsible for diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, performing repairs, and conducting routine maintenance to keep vehicles in optimal working condition. ehicle mechanic provides detailed inspection for equipment that include vehicles, generators and other rolling stocks to support operations Repair and Maint Inspect vehicles and related equipment to detect failed or improperly operating equipment Perform preventive & corrective maintenance and/or replace defective parts or equipment utilizing manuals, drawings, specs, and other written or verbal instructions Respond to system failure to recover vehicles and restore operations Prepare reports or daily logs as required Install/repair complex wiring assemblies including modifications Observe all established safety procedures Perform administrative and housekeeping duties Assist in the development of vehicle maintenance schedules and priorities Provides vehicle maintenance and motor pool services

Must be able to work in all weather conditions (primary shop is on-mountain and work is often outdoors) Must have high school degree or equivalent Must be able to communicate clearly in English Having the knowledge to know when to ask for help or ask the questions so you don't damage something Minimum of 4 years professional experience diagnosing and repairing diesel/gas engines and related equipment
