Job Description

We are seeking an experienced

T24 Operations Lead

with strong technical expertise and hands-on experience in managing Temenos T24 Core Banking systems within the UAE banking sector. The ideal candidate will lead the T24 operations team, ensure smooth day-to-day functioning, optimise system performance, and support mission-critical banking services.

Key Responsibilities

Lead daily operational activities for

Temenos T24 core banking systems

, ensuring high availability, stability, and performance. Act as the

technical escalation point

for complex T24 issues, coordinating with development, infrastructure, and vendor teams. Oversee

end-of-day (EOD), end-of-month (EOM)

, and end-of-year processes, ensuring timely and error-free execution. Perform proactive

system monitoring, health checks, and capacity planning

to minimise downtime and incidents. Manage

upgrades, patches, releases, and environment refreshes

in collaboration with Temenos and internal IT teams. Work closely with

business stakeholders

to understand requirements and deliver operational support aligned with business objectives. Ensure adherence to

UAE Central Bank regulations

, audit guidelines, and internal compliance standards. Mentor and guide the T24 operations team, promoting best practices and operational excellence.

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of overall experience

, including

5+ years of hands-on T24 operations experience

. Proven expertise in

T24 technical modules

, COB (Close of Business) management, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. Experience with

T24 scripting, TAFC/TAFJ, OFS, and TAFJ architecture

. Strong background in

Unix/Linux environments, Oracle database administration, and integration technologies

. Practical knowledge of

deployment automation, job scheduling, and monitoring tools

.

Mandatory:

Minimum 3+ years of experience in a

UAE banking environment

supporting Temenos T24 production systems. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Temenos T24 certification or equivalent hands-on experience. Experience with

Islamic banking modules, digital banking channels, and T24 local customisations

DevOps practices

and cloud-based deployments is an added advantage.
