Job Summary:

Dubai Islamic Bank is seeking a skilled and experienced T24 Consultant with strong SQL expertise to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical and functional support for our Temenos T24 core banking system, with a focus on data analysis, reporting, and system enhancements using SQL. You will work closely with various business units and IT teams to ensure the efficient and effective operation of our T24 platform.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical and functional support for the Temenos T24 core banking system.
Utilize strong SQL skills to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from the T24 database for reporting, reconciliation, and troubleshooting purposes.
Develop and maintain custom SQL queries, scripts, and reports to meet business requirements.
Participate in the implementation, upgrade, and customization of the T24 system.
Collaborate with business analysts and users to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions within T24.
Troubleshoot and resolve T24 system issues, including data discrepancies and performance bottlenecks.
Perform system configuration and parameterization within T24 modules.
Develop and maintain technical documentation related to T24 configurations, customizations, and SQL scripts.
Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal policies.
Stay updated with the latest T24 releases, functionalities, and industry best practices.
Participate in testing and quality assurance activities for T24 changes and enhancements.
Provide training and support to end-users on T24 functionalities and reports.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of [Specify Number, e.g., 3-5] years of experience as a T24 Consultant or a similar role within the banking industry.
Proven experience working with the Temenos T24 core banking system.
Excellent proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and functions.
Strong understanding of relational database concepts and data modeling.
Experience with T24 modules such as [Specify relevant modules, e.g., Core, Lending, Trade Finance, Payments].
Familiarity with T24 development tools and environments (e.g., T24 Browser, jBase).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve complex issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in the Islamic banking sector is a plus.
