Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled

Windows Systems Administrator

with strong expertise in

Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, and Exchange Server

. The ideal candidate will also bring a solid understanding of

Linux systems

, as well as hands-on experience with

virtualization and hyperconverged platforms

including VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, and Nutanix. This role will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise IT infrastructure while ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Deploy, configure, and manage

Windows Server environments

across on-premises and cloud platforms. Administer and support

Microsoft Azure services

,

Active Directory

,

Group Policy

, and

Exchange Server (on-premises and Online/Hybrid)

. Perform

identity and access management

, security hardening, and compliance enforcement. Provide basic administration and troubleshooting of

Linux servers

. Manage and support

virtualization platforms

: VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, KVM, and Nutanix AHV. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve system performance, security, and availability issues. Implement and support

disaster recovery

,

backup solutions

, and

high-availability

configurations. Work closely with network, storage, and security teams to ensure seamless IT operations. Document system configurations, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Provide

Level 2/3 support

and mentor junior IT staff where required.

Qualifications & Skills

Microsoft Certifications

(Azure Administrator Associate, Windows Server/Active Directory, or Exchange) required. Proven hands-on experience with

Windows Server

,

Active Directory

,

Exchange Server

, and

Microsoft 365

. Experience with

Azure IaaS/PaaS services

, monitoring, and automation tools. Strong knowledge of

virtualization technologies

: VMware ESXi/vCenter, Hyper-V, KVM, Nutanix. Basic to intermediate

Linux administration skills

(Red Hat, Ubuntu, or CentOS preferred). Understanding of

networking concepts

(DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN, load balancing). Experience in

backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning

. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
